I want to share my perspective to help you understand the election of Donald Trump and its potential impact on relations between Mexico and the United States. Although these are moments of uncertainty, it is important not to be negative, pessimistic or unnecessarily reactionary. There is a lot of mutual respect, family ties and shared economic interests to allow a single person, including President Trump, to undo our ties of friendship and business. as well as the economic progress that we have had since the signing of the FTA. I remain positive about the future and that is how you should remain.
