In December 2022, no transactions were announced by Mexican companies abroad, representing a decrease of 2 transactions versus the prior month’s volume. Compared to the same period YTD the volume of transactions increased by 38.4%.

The Industrial sector leads in the domestic M&A activity in Mexico, with 23 announced transactions as of December 2022 YTD, which represents 15.1% of the total announced transactions in the period.
